check the aerator FIRST since it is the simplest solution. no reason to unnecessarily disconnect the water supply lines, potentially creating a leak, etc. sorry, but this did not solve my low pressure issue at my kitchen sink.

mine vibrate and make a really loud humming sound as I'm running the hot tap and it gets louder and 'more aggressive' once I've turned the tap off. We had someone come out and he turned the mains tap down which has done absolutely nothing 🙄

I can imagine what you went through as I am getting my DCT 2024 next week and it will be my first (and last) heavy motorbike too. It's beenmy dream all my life and now I can afford it and hopefully have a few goods years ahed to enjoy it. It's been a few years for you now and how long did it take you to be realy confident?

My pipes hammer when i turn on the radiator heating and they keep banging around all day while its running. Should i put arrestors on every pipe?

I was thinking the hose was clogged and started there since I had the issue before on a different one. Then I figured it was the filler after It still didn’t work. Found your video and felt relief when I checked it wasn’t the water pipe. It was the Fill valve indeed. It was fast to replace it after seeing your video! Last time someone helped this time I did it! Thank you! Saved me the money that someone else would have charged to come do it. Ladies try it, put fear aside. This is the best video. Saved in my DYI 🚽 folder 🤩💜 If anyone is curious I bought Universal high performance since that is what is what is in the other one that was fixed years ago. It fits many different toilet, good chance it’ll fit yours.

Best video by far in comparison to others on UA-cam! Thank you for giving us the clue on how to locate the shut off valve by following the hot and cold pipe leading from the hot water tank. I even saw a professional plumber from California who claimed he has 43 years experience and could not even give illustrations or show a video where to find the shut of valve. He and His son made a fool of themselves. Thanks again!!!!!

.A new faucet (a dual spray switch tap that allows to switch between a strong shower setting, and normal stream setting) is installed downstairs. Whenever the downstair neighbor switches to strong flow setting I hear a high pitched water stream noise in my kitchen. The below neighbor uses the high flow setting quite often in the day, and it affects my ears as I have an ear condition called tinnitus. But it's loud enough that even someone without tinnitus would find it annoying (the nails against chalkboard type of sound)..why the noise is coming, Really appreciate any help, thank you!

Excellent video thank you.I I thought i must have twisted the flexible tails when i tightened them after a leak but they were fine. Removed aerator. Sure enough lots of white gunk trapped in the mesh. You saved me from hours of frustration🙂

Thank you so much. Water suddenly became a trickle. Looked at all sorts of plumbing videos, took tap apart, cartridge and all, refitted, no difference. Couldn't get a plumber. Didn't know what to do. Then your video came up. I thought here we go again telling me the same stuff. But you're the only one that mentioned aerator and showed how to do it and right enough in a few moments it's fixed. Is there no way to fix the filler valve? My toilet is filling, just very slowly and then kinda leaks into the toilet like the handle isn't up properly
